Google India had officially announced the Doodle 4 Google India 2012 competition on 3rd October 2012. Google also announced that winning Doodle will be featured on the homepage of Google India on 14th November.Doodle which we are going to see soon in Google India homepage is a work of 9th standard student of Kendriya Vidyalaya from Chandigarh

By this competition Google focused to find out young talents from country and encourage them by providing new path explore their abilities. In one month after the official announcement of Google Doodle competition for the year 2012 Google India received more than two lacks of applications. It is reported that students from 1000 schools across 60 major cities are joined in this years Doodle competition.

The finalists for Doodle 4 Google competition are selected by conducting two major rounds. The winners for preliminary round are selected by independent judges from different fields. In second round online voting is done to selects the winners. The preliminary round of Doodle 4 Google India 2012 had gone through more than two lacks of candidates. This round is judged by famous cartoonist Ajit Ninan and the theatre artist Boman Irani.

Judges reported that selection of winners became a tough competition to them as all Doodles are symbol of creativity. In second round toppers for each group is selected according to public voting. Upon the number of votes gets to them Google India selects top four participants for each group. In this year’s competition Google had short listed 13 finalists for the competition.

The winning Doodle for the competition Doodle 4 Google India 2012 ‘India- A Prism if Multiplicity’ selected by the original Google doodler Dennis Hwang. Google India offers a Samsung Tab and a Google Doogie bag for all finalists from different groups. The final winner Arun Kumar Yadav prized with $5000 scholarship.
