This years Australia Day special Google Doodle is the winning doodle of Doodle 4 Google Australia 2013 competition in theme ‘If I was an explorer I would’. Olivia Kong is the designer of this winning doodle named Brain Matter. Olivia is from Hornsby Girls high school.
Google doodle by Olivia is designed in two section as you can see above. Olivia said ,doodle is the reflection of human brain’s left and right section after receiving the prize in an interview. It’s about the blending of mind functions for future exploration of world.
In Australia Day 2014 Doodle 4 Google, the left side is designed with cubes, cells and small things which points to the logical functioning of brain. Right part of the doodle starts from the center of second ‘o’ in the Google logo. It points out right hemisphere brain function like creativity, emotions, thinking, music and colors of life. Over all Google Doodle by Olivia says that ‘ for the exploration of future both right and left combination must go in hand’. Theme for the Doodle 4 Google competition ‘ If I was an explorer I Would’ is carried out by Olivia in an innovative style.
By winning the Doodle 4 Google competition 2013 with doodle Brain Matter , Olivia Kong won the prize of Nexus 7 Tablet and a Cromebook along with the amount of $10,000 for her school.On 26 January 2014, that is Austalia Day 2014, every one can see this creative doodle by Olivia on Google Australia.
