The only changes that we can see in the Peru Independence Day 2013 doodle is the inclusion of National bird Andean Cock-of-the-Rock flying with the ribbon in the color of Peru national flag and the logo letters are wrote with the original logo colors in the Peru doodle.

Peru became an independent nation on 28th July 1821 from Spain. José Francisco de San Martín is the leader who is well known while thinking about the independence of Peru. It was after long years of struggle Peru came out as an independent nation. After the declaration of independence also there existed some political issues in the nation but gradually everything got an end and Peru became one of the important country in the world.

There are many places in Peru which attracts tourists over there every year.  There are many ancient customs and traditions followed by Peruvians today also, which make them special.

Peru Independence Day 2013 is Sunday July 28th. The programs of the day starts from morning after the flag raising ceremony. People over there celebrates the day in the best way by respecting the nation and enjoying the anniversary of independence.
