Mother’s Day 2009 Google Doodle  on homepage appeared on May 10th. It’s usual that Google comes up with special doodle on Google home page on every Mother’s Day. In the year 2009 also the doodle appeared on the home Page was beautiful and simple.

To make the Mother’s Day 2009 Google Doodle  special , they included the picture of a beautiful bouquet in it with logo color replaced with pink color. Mother’s Day doodle reflected the simplicity of the word ‘Mother’ in it in a very beautiful and symbolic way.

Mother’s Day celebration has got a great relation with Anna Jarvis. Anna Jarvis is the lady came forward with the idea of celebrating a day dedicated to Mothers in a year.  Love, care and sacrifices a mother do for her children is great. From the time of the child’s birth mothers will stand as a leading light for them.

Mother’s Day special doodle that Google publish on the home page seems to be very cute and is perfect with the theme of celebration. It is the simplicity in those doodles which makes it beautiful. In the doodle of 2009 also we can see this same feel and purity of mothers love.

Though Mother’s Day celebrations started in the year 1912 after Anna Jarvis continuous effort it got great popularity and recognition by 1960’s. It we can see great celebrations for the day all across the world with special parties and other cultural programs on the day.

In most of the countries the celebration of Mother’s Day takes place in the month of May. It was on the second Sunday of May celebrations takes place in most of the place though there are certain exceptions. In some countries Parents Day is celebrated instead of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.

In this year also there we many grand programs to make the loving mom’s happy all over. Shopping malls and tourist places flooded with people enjoying the day with their loving mothers.
