Google’s 4th Birthday Doodle

The doodle is released as a part of celebrating Google’s 4th Birthday. Over many years Google is given the user friendly search experience. This continues still and apart from a searching service Google grew as a multinational corporation which provides wide variety of services like cloud computing, advertising and software technologies.

The above Google doodle is released as a part of Google’s 4th Birthday. It really makes an impression of birth day celebration by its first look itself. The doodle is so simple. The candles and cake is the central attraction of the Google’s 4th Birthday Doodle . There is 4 candles as Google is in the 4th age.

Google formed in 1998 and this doodle is released on September 27, 2000. The 4 candles are given colors blue, red, yellow and green respectively as same colors of the letters in Google logo. Instead of ‘l’ in Google it is written as ‘4’ in order to emphasize the number of years. In order to create a party mood of birth day celebration there are shown some confetti that have the same colors as in Google logo.

Google has been ruling the web over past 14 years by leaving their opponents far away behind by popularity and the quality of services which they facilitate for the millions of internet users. Now Google is turned as primary source of content searching among wide variety of Internet users. It will be interesting to go through the success story of Google.

The hosting domain for the site was “google.stanford.edu” which utilized the Stanford website. The domain “google.com” was registered on September 15, 1997. Both Page and Sergey incorporated their company ‘Google Inc.’ in 1998. By the end of the year 1998 Google had about 60 million indexed pages. So there got a wonderful response for Google from its starting. It is praised as a more technically innovative site than other existing portal sites. Year by year the reach and popularity is increasing.

After Google’s initial success an article published in Salon.com has the view that Google’s search results are much better than its competitors. The simplicity in the design of Google is attracted many internet users. Google initiated the steps towards advertisements associated with each searching keywords in 2000.

In order to keep the page loading time minimum the advertisements are mostly on text based and has designed simple as possible. Google is against to any evil activities in the web and “Don’t be evil” is the code of conduct that gives the message that to be good in whatever you do.
