Google will present the winning doodle of Doodle 4 2013 Google Canada on 26 February 2014. The theme for competition was ‘ If i Could invent anything, i would invent’. Cindy Tang won the competition with doodle ‘Sea Telescope’.
Cindy Tang’s Google Doodle was selected as the top doodle from 25 finalist by guest judges including Chris Hadfield, Janet Carding, Karine Vanasse and Ann Makosinski. Cindy’s Google doodle depicted the image of Sea Telescope and sea in bright colors.We can see a girl exploring the sea with telescope standing on the dock. Google logo is included with sea creatures and other treasures of sea.
Cindy Tang explained ” I would invent a telescope that would show us the depth of the sea . I’ve heard we’ve discovered less than 5% of the ocean – 95% still left unseen by human eyes” in Google Doodle Canada Website. As the theme of the competition was invention, Cindy’s ideas goes perfect with it.
Cindy Tang is the 12th Grade Student of Dr Norman Bethune Collegiate Institute in Scarborough, Ontario. 17 year old artist won the prize of $10,000 and laptop with a grand of $10,000 for her school. It’s in Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto, the award ceremony took place on Tuesday morning. Winning doodles were exhibited in the gallery of Museum. Google of Cindy Tang will be seen by million in Google homepage of Canada on Wednesday.
