Google features Doodle 4 Google 2013 Indian winner on homepage, on 14th November as a part of childrens day. It is 15 year old Gayathry Ketharaman from Pune who won first prize for Doodle 4 Google 2013 competition from India, Doodle entitled as ‘Sky’s the limit for Indian women’.
November 14th Google Doodle on Indian home page reflects different qualities of women of the country. Gayathry includes a dancing women in arched form to represents the letter G within official logo, reflects the grace of Indian women. You can see a Indian one rupee coin and a symbol of home in the place of two ‘O’ of Google, a visual representation of how Indian women give equal importance for work and home.
The second ‘G’ within Google represented through Moon, Earth and rocket, stands for Indian women highly enterprising. You can see a women holding a kid in the place of ‘L’, shows the care of Indian women. The last letter ‘E’ represented through a police cap, reflects women are brave enough to serve for the country.
Gayathry Ketharaman, 10th standard student of co-Eid school Pune had participated in Doodle 4 Google competition for four times, in 2011 became a close winner for theme ‘India’s gift to the world’. Top 12 winners of Doodle 4 Google competition will get Chromebook and other surprising gifts. Last year it was Arun kumar yadav who won first prize for Doodle 4 Google 2012 competition in India.
“It took me around a week to complete the Doodle once I started working on it. But before that I spend several weeks thinking about the theme and how best I can represent the ideas I had in my mind about Indian women” Gayathry Ketharaman said about her Doodle.
For 2013 Google India got more than 1.5 lakhs entries for Doodle 4 Google competition. Doodle 4 Google competition is a well path for a teenagers to becomes a part of search giant.
