What is difference between Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S5 Prime

As announced Samsung Galaxy S5 will comes on 24th February. Like Apple’s last years release Galaxy S5 will comes in two forms Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S5 prime. Both of the phones varies by specifications and price.

The Galaxy S5 Prime is nothing but premium metal cased version of flagship Smartphone. Another version is Exynos 6 powered Galaxy S5, reported by Sammobile. Samsung want to spread the business of Galaxy S5 across all types of customers. The plan of introducing Galaxy S5 in two different model also shows that marketing mind.

Last year Apple introduced two different model of Smartphone, aluminium body iPhone 5S and plastic covered iPhone 5C. Samsung also want to follow that same approach.  Galaxy S5 will have a fully covered aluminum body, becomes first ever Samsung flagship phone to have ab aluminum body. For the standard model Galaxy S5 Samsung withstand  same polycarbonate body that used for Galaxy S4.

For Galaxy prime you will see 5.2 inch quad HD super amoled display with resolution 2560*1440px. The 2K display Galaxy S5 will powered by 2.5GHz Snapdragon 805 processor. It advanced power management, faster processing and 40% more graphic power than that of Snapdragon 800 processor, used in Galaxy S4. Galaxy S5 prime also will have LTE-A support.

The standard model of Galaxy S5 will have polycarbonate body, just like that of Galaxy S4. Unlike 2K display within Galaxy S5 prime it will have full HD super AMOLED display with resolution 1920*1080px. It will powered through Samsung’s own Exynos 6 processor. Even though it developed through big.LITTLE architecture it won’t going to bring LTE-A support, comes under international 3G version.

Bothe of Galaxy S5 prime and Galaxy S5 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and will have 16 megapixel camera. Upon the price tag Galaxy S5 prime demands $200 more than that of Galaxy S5.
