Chile Independence Day 2012 Google Doodle included the stamp of Country and the seal representing the date and year of release.

The war for  independence of Chile was a part of Spanish American war. Chileans were divided in to two groups at those times, Independentist and royalist. War for independence in Chile started first as a political movement. Though starting was a simple political movement, ended with a full forced civil war. Starting from 1810 it lasted over many years.

Stages of independence of Chile were divided in to three as The partia vieja, the reconquista, Partia nueva. San Martin was among the prominent personalities who took initiative for making Chile independent. War for independence of Chile has got many social and economic effects on the functioning of the country.

Chilean wheat industry came down at this time and it had a negative impact on the economy of the country. Trading was disrupted all around the country due to the war lasted for many years. Parties are organized all across the country. Every Chilean has a great respect in their heart for this day.

Chileans celebrate the whole week of independence with competitions and functions. Day after the Independence Day that is 19th September is also a national holiday in Chile. Chile Independence Day 2012 was also celebrated by them similarly with all fun and joy.
