Audrey Hepburn’s 85th Birthday Google Doodle

Actress Audrey Hepburn would have been 85 on Sunday, 4th May 2014. To mark the occasion, Google created beautiful doodle depicting her image in pinkish background  on its search homepage on various countries.

Google Doodle points to her life as a beautiful actress and also as a beautiful humanist. Creator of Audrey Hepburn’s 85th Birthday Google Doodle Jennifer Hom said “I wanted to show both side of  Audrey’s life’s works” .Jennifer also added description in Google Doodles page pointing out portrait you could see on Google Search is selected from Yousuf Karsh’s photography from 1956.

You can see black and white image of Hepburn in the center and in both side’s of it, doodler also added images of Hepburn dancing with children. Hepburn have spend many years of her life working with UNICEF. For Hepburn’s works with this Organization for welfare of children she was awarded Presidential Medal for Freedom by George H W Bush.

Audrey Hepburn was born in Belgium in the year 1929. Hepburn was in the top star list during Hollywood’s Golden ages. Hepburn was given many awards for her performance in many films.This most naturally beautiful woman of all time was ranked as the third greatest female screen legend  by American Film Institute. Her role in Film Roman Holiday in 1953 made her the winner of Oscar award.

Hepburn started her film career at the age of 21 staring in British films. Though she was a shinning star in film industry she have given much time of her life for humanitarian activities. Hepburn was the Goodwill ambassador of UNICEF.

Hepburn was the fashion icon of her time. Many followed her style and attitude towards life. Clothes Hepburn wore in films were sold for high rates. Infact, The black little dress, Hepburn wore in  ‘Breakfast at Tiffny’s’  is the second highest paid dress from film.

Hepburn’s quotes points out her view on life. Hepburn have said

“Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, It’s at end of your arm”

Google Doodle for Hepburn a honor for her life and works. Hepburn died on 20th January 1993. Her personality, attitude and style made her live in heart of people long time after her death.
