4th of July 2004 Google Doodles

The date 4th of July is celebrated as the Independence Day or National Day of United States. 4th of July is a Federal holiday in United States. Google released a special doodle on this occasion.

After the colonial ruling of the Great Britain in United States, the nation got independence on 4th of July in 1776. People celebrate this freedom with several official and unofficial events. On this occasion special political speeches and official ceremonies will be organized to address the nation. The other unofficial celebrations includes with parades, fireworks, barbecues, picnics, carnivals, fairs, concerts, family reunions and basketball games etc….In all these celebrations one thing can be seen common, the reflection of the traditions, history and Government of United States. The tradition or history of United States freedom struggle can be summarized as follows.

At the time of Great Britain’s ruling in the United States the nation was divided in to thirteen colonies. Then the second Continental Congress take a major step towards the independence by Congress put forward a resolution step and is known as American resolution. This important move is initiated by Richard Henry Lee of Virginiaand all other members agreed upon the new resolution by voting.

The principal author of this prepared statement was Thomas Jefferson. On 4th of July all the committee members signed the declaration document. But after this some controversies are rise as a result of this. The decision for declaration of Independence was taken in the 2nd July and the official declaration was on 4th of July after signing the document.

The dispute is cleared by the committee members itself and it is finally declared July 4 as the National Day of Independence. As a part of the Independence Day of United States Google released a special Google doodle. The central attraction of doodle is the national bird of United States, the eagle. The logo of Google is different from the original logo. The Google is written using the national flag of United States.
